Why do feet have the right to be cared for and pampered!
Feet have been seen as the miracle part evolution ever since man walked on his feet for the first time. The best example of this is that our feet help us to walk upright. A foot consists of 26 bones, 31 joints, 107 ligaments, and 19 muscles. The arched anatomy of the foot enables us to bear the weight of our whole body as well as additional weight. With every step the foot shows it’s forces by spreading the weight and absorbing it optimally. Depending on the load impact feet are able to bear several 100 kilograms. Harsh external effects cause the skin to be dry, rough, flakey and sensitive. This results in ones feet to hurt and swell up. A foot bath with lasting revitalizing care is relaxing for the feet. The foot-whirlpool is stimulating for the feet and harmonizes the whole body.
Thermarium offers several different foot-whirlpool designs.
With 99 air nozzles in the floor of the foot spa basin this give a relaxing massage experience for one’s soles. A removable punched niro-plate is positioned at a distance of 2 cm from the air nozzles in the basin. It is necessary to have this plate to avoid a cold air sensation that would occur if it had a direct air injection. The plate assures that the air bubbles rise and have enough contact with the warm water so that the air bubbles have the same temperature as the water before the air bubbles massage the sole of one’s feet.
The basin is equipped with a high-quality fibre-glass reinforced polyester insulation. All parts are equipped with the necessary sleeves and are sealed into for a totally water-proof shell.

For a wellness areas which are not supervised it is best to have a massage program that runs fully automatically. This is a push button that automatically starts to fill the basins and automatically drains the basin after the time of the treatment has elapsed or if the basin is left early. A display panel informs the guest about the filling and draining process. A sensor monitors the basin and sets off automatic draining if the guest leaves the basin before the end of the whirlpool cycle.
The whirlpool may also be controlled manually, using normal cold and warm water taps as well as the standpipe. The guest and the therapist are respectively able to control the filling and draining of the basin.
