“Thermarium” Baeder-Bau GmbH uses polished marble mainly in heat baths areas and due to the product care less in areas of steam baths. Cleaning:
Please notice that marble, like every limestone, is corroded by acid containing substances like vinegar, lemon juice, acid containing detergents, etc. This means that the polish will be destroyed. Highly fat dissolving cleaning agents, soft soap and the like products leach out the natural stone and may leave visible residua or cause a faster soiling of the stone. Please avoid the contact of these substances with the polished marble. The marble may also not be treated with scratching or sanding materials, like pot cleaning sponges or abrasive powder.
Water spots, especially if the water is hard, but also crèmes, lotions, soap leftovers, washing powder, etc, may be wiped up as soon as possible. Already built-up calcifications may be carefully removed with a hard sponge (white pad).

Product Care:
The impregnation may be done with "Lithofin MN Stain-stop". Only absolutely clean and dry surfaces may be impregnated. The impregnation makes the stone water and oil repellent. The impregnation may prevent discoloring through moisture, and stains may be removed more easily. The marble is easier to clean and the beautiful surface remains clean.

Time Interval:
The cleaning has to take place, depending on the staining, as soon as possible.
The product care may depends on the degree of soiling, but may take place at least half-yearly.

Safety related Details:
